Requirements

Education

• OND, HND, Bachelors degree in accounting

Experience/Skills

• Minimum of 2–5 years experience in accounting or audit roles.
• Additional training in bookkeeping or financial management is an added advantage. Mastery of digital payment collection systems (paystack, flutterwave etc) is a must.

• High level of integrity and accountability in handling company funds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced transport company
• Must be disciplined, focused, and able to meet payment deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for vendor and internal interactions.

Responsibilities & Context

• Process and verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Prepare and schedule payment disbursements
• Verify and maintain Vendors requisition forms
• Track company expenses and support budget monitoring.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies or outstanding balances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and approval procedures.
• Prepare reports on accounts payable and operational expenses.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to validate expenses.
