E.Ekesons Transport Company Limited seeks a competent, trustworthy and hands-on IT/Systems Officer to manage and support its booking platforms, business intelligence systems, fleet technology, payment integrations and operational data infrastructure.rnrnThe position is central to protecting revenue, maintaining data integrity, improving operational visibility and providing management with accurate information for timely decision-making.rnrnThis is not merely a general IT-support position. The successful candidate must demonstrate practical competence in booking systems, data analysis, dashboard reporting, systems integration, application support and technology-enabled revenue control.rnrnKey ResponsibilitiesrnrnThe IT/Systems Officer will:rnrnAdminister and support the company’s online booking and transport management systems.rnMonitor bookings, payments, ticket issuance, seat inventory, manifests, cancellations, refunds and trip closures.rnIdentify and report booking irregularities, revenue leakages, duplicate tickets, unauthorized transactions and suspicious system activities.rnReconcile booking-system reports with payment-gateway, bank, terminal, operational and accounts records.rnProduce daily exception reports highlighting discrepancies, unusual transactions and potential revenue losses.rnDevelop and maintain management dashboards covering:rnPassenger and cargo revenue.rnRoute and terminal performance.rnVehicle and trip profitability.rnSeat occupancy and load factors.rnOnline, POS, transfer and cash collections.rnFuel consumption and vehicle efficiency.rnFleet availability, downtime and maintenance.rnCustomer complaints and service performance.rnStaff and terminal productivity.rnSupport websites, booking applications, databases, APIs, payment gateways and third-party integrations.rnLiaise with software developers, vendors and service providers to resolve faults and implement approved improvements.rnSupport GPS tracking, vehicle telematics, CCTV, dashcams, fuel-monitoring systems and other fleet technologies.rnDetect and report unauthorized interference with fleet-monitoring or company technology equipment.rnCreate and manage user accounts, access rights and approval levels based on authorized job responsibilities.rnPromptly deactivate or restrict the access of transferred, suspended or disengaged personnel.rnMaintain system audit trails, backups, cybersecurity controls, password policies and data-recovery procedures.rnProvide technical support to terminals, booking personnel, customer-service staff and management.rnTrain employees on the correct use of approved booking, reporting and fleet-management systems.rnMaintain an accurate register of IT equipment, software licences, user accounts and assigned devices.rnRecommend practical technology improvements that reduce fraud, improve efficiency and strengthen profitability.rnPrepare clear daily, weekly and monthly systems-performance reports for management.rnDigital Platform ResponsibilitiesrnrnThe officer will provide technical support for the company’s website and approved social-media accounts, including:rnrnAccount security and access control.rnPassword administration and two-factor authentication.rnWebsite, analytics, tracking-pixel and platform integrations.rnSocial-media performance data for management dashboards.rnTechnical support to the Digital Marketing, Content & Customer Engagement Officer.rnrnThe IT/Systems Officer will not have primary responsibility for photography, videography, creative scripting, graphic design, daily social-media posting or community engagement.
